Infrared heating heats the walls, floor and ceiling. The walls stay dry – there are no conditions for formation of mould and fungi, which are often triggered by steam condensation when warm air circulates close to cold surfaces. With pleasantly warmed walls (which emit heat like a heater), the residents feel comfortably in the room even at lower air temperature levels.
Maintaining lower temperatures of the air in the premises means also that air humidity is kept at a level, which is beneficial to the human health. This is particularly good in wintertime, since normal humidity levels favour the formation of nasal mucus – in this way, there is no drying of the nose membranes, while their normal humidity levels activate the natural protection against diseases. The air does not get dry, its indirect heating allows maintaining the necessary oxygen and humidity levels in the premises. The climate is healthy and environment-friendly.
Heating via far infrared rays allows uniform heating of the whole premise. There is no hot air flow from the floor to the ceiling, which is typical for convection heating systems. Therefore, there is no effect ‘cold feet – warm head’. There is no circulation of dust and bacteria, which is favourable for people with allergies.
